Volcano’s popular annual Kamahalo Craft Fair will be presented from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. on Friday and from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on Saturday at the Cooper Community Center campus on Wright Road in Volcano Village.

More than 30 vendors will be on hand with homemade, handmade and homegrown items. Besides gift items, the Cooper Center Council volunteers will make hearty soups and Bueno Burrito will provide Mexican food for hungry shoppers.

On Saturday, “the fabulous silent auction” will be held, with bidding to close at 1 p.m.

“Filled with unique items which are donations from the vendors, as well as hand-selected unique items, the silent auction is always a lot of fun and an opportunity for great bargains and great gifts,” said spokeswoman Mililani Hughes.

The Kamahalo Gift Fair is a project of the Cooper Center Council and proceeds will be used to fund community activities and projects such as the Friends Feeding Friends hot meal program.
